Cinderella Man

Rated: PG-13 Running Time: 144 Minutes Year: 2005 Boobs: Zero One Sentence: You can still like a movie even when you don't like the 2 stars of the movie. We are getting into the groove now. We have been slow on movies lately because we have been really busy. Were going tonight to the theater however, probably on Wednesday and I got a DVD from this weekend. Cinderella Man. Starring Squinty Eyes Zellweger, and Bottled Rage Crowe. Both of whom I find to be some of my least favorite Hollywood types. Actually who am I kidding I find most Hollywood types to be my least favorite. However even with those two, I was into the movie, engrossed in the depression era story, and felt for the characters. The movie I think is a great story, and should be told as it was. Ron Howard, didn't seem to blow up this man as a super hero or something that he was not in order to wow the audience. At least I didn't feel that way and it made me enjoy the film. It seems to hit on a lot of emotions as most would expect from this type of film, but it doesn't seem to be so bleak that you feel like there is no light at the end of the tunnel. The boxing was well done, shot well, fought fell and really seemed to evoke that part of me that was engrossed in the scene, dying to know what would happen next and who would win, what would happen, and when did it happen. What round? I knew nothing of the story, and what happened to the man himself, so it was all a surprise to me, and I enjoyed it much more because of that. I feel the movie is good for almost anyone, it does have fighting, but nothing that would be immoral, or bad for kids in my opinion, but they might be bored with it. I would rent it for sure. Good flick indeed.
