Daylight Savings Time Movie List

I don't know if you are aware or not, but Daylight Savings Time is 3 weeks early this year (this Sunday).  From now on it will be in March.  What this had meant for me, is dealing with a mini Y2K where I am having to test changes to server times for patches to products that were developed before 2005, when Congress decided to change DST.  What that means for you is another awesome movie list from The Reviewer.  Movies you should check out that have to do with Time Travel, or will make you lose the concept of time.  You should watch these movies on Saturday night at about 1AM so when they are over it will be 4AM and it will just like you traveled through time!

Fear and Loathing

Nothing says loss of time better then a drug fueled trip to Las Vegas.  [tag]Johnny Depp[/tag] and [tag]Benicio Del Toro[/tag] are awesome, in what can only be described, as a very weird movie. Pushing the limits of their bodies, a man and his lawyer are on a drug bender on the way to Las Vegas.  Meeting anyone and everyone along the way, some human, some not.  If you want to really get lost on Daylight Savings Time, this one is for you.

Time Code

Time Code.  Shot on 4 cameras at the same time, this film is shown in 4 pieces at the same time.  Not knowing where to watch, or what is exactly going on in any of them.  You see the story unravel across the 4 screens all at once.  Making for a very interesting movie experience, and a very odd feeling.  Not exactly the best movie in the world, but a very good one for the time shift experience.

 2001

2001: A Space Odyssey, the ultimate movie for time loss, and time travel all in one.  A look at man and his acheivments, his past and future.  Stanley Kubrick's masterpiece 2001, will leave you wondering where the time went, and how you ever made it back to earth.  If you haven't seen it, it's a long one and a bit slow, but truly an amazing piece of work.

Jason X

Jason X, the year is 2455A.D. The future.  Jason is back killing in the future.  The Earth is contaminated, and in space no one can hear you scream.  Get that future feel, without all that pesky future stuff to get in the way, when all you are looking for is a good old slasher flick.  Jason X is the movie for your ultimate slasher DST party.  You are having one aren't you?

Donnie Darko

Donnie Darko, what is going on?  What time is the present?  What time is the past?  Are we time traveling?  I am not quite sure what is going on.  Even if you have seen Donnie Darko before, it wouldn't hurt to watch it again, pick up on the things you missed, the first 8 times you watched it.  Another one that will leave you wondering where you are and what time it really is, another great choice for DST.
