One Sentence:  The best prison movie featuring toilet wine you will see this year.

With names like [tag]Chi McBride, Dax Shepard, Will Arnett[/tag] and directed by [tag]Bob Odenkirk[/tag] I had very high hopes for this box office flopper.  No one saw it, I don't even know if it actually was in the theater the run was so short.  I blinked and it was gone, so I had to wait for DVD.  I thought it looked funny, and anyone associated with Mr. Show, gets my attention.

I am happy to report this movie was not the worst thing released last year.  It had an original story, which is rare these days, and was mostly funny.  Funny enough that I can say I was not bored with it, or looking around at the people I was watching with hoping they didn't hate me for making them sit through an hour and a half of prison rape and white power jokes.  Which is pretty much what this movie ends up being about.  Oh and the toilet wine.  Yum yum.

Pretty much on par with anything on Comedy Central right now, it was not a laugh riot, but was far better than I was expecting, and this is probably a good thing, for anyone involved in this movie.  Of course the stand out winner of this movie was Chi McBride, who I enjoy very much and did very well in his part.  Everyone else did fine with their roles.  No one is going to win any awards for anything associated with this movie, but it is solid enough that if you rented it, or wanted it rent it, you will not be disappointed.  I wouldn't say that if you don't have it in the queue you need to add it, unless you love that toilet wine.

I thought it was pretty funny! Not fantastic, but original & some really funny stuff among the average humor stuff!
