One Sentence: Tiny balls, tiny jokes.

I am back from my 4 week vacation and I am stocked full of crappy movies for you all.  Starting with the unfunny Balls Of Fury.  Yes, I saw Balls Of Fury over Halloween, yes, I have not seen Halloween, yes, I have heard people are just as pissed about Halloween.  I might go see it this week, I don't know.  Either way, I am not sure if this was the better or worse choice.  Because Balls Of Fury sucked balls.

The plot line was there for a comedy of this caliber.  It held together for being a movie about the underground world of ping pong. I am not saying it was genius but it worked enough to hold together for a comedy.  The CG was really good.  So was the audio, at no point did I think the ping pong looked fake.   I think if I had to say one part of the movie was really good, it was the CG ping pong.  I am not even sure it was CG ping pong I just assume it was because I doubt everyone learned to play ping pong that well.  I will keep going with the good parts.  Thomas Lennon who plays office Jim Dangle on Reno 911 was the best and funniest actor in this movie.  Sadly he was just a small supporting role.  I would have not minded more with him.  Other great cameos included, Patton Oswalt, Diedrich Bader, and Masi Oka.

Even though it might sound good, it really was not.  It came out as a boring, completly unfunny movie, with a scattered plot line that left scenes on the cutting room floor.  At no point did I any laugh come out naturally.  Most were forced at best.  It was not edgy or smart.  It failed on almost all the jokes it tired, and we are just left with some weird characters playing way short games of ping pong.  It just didn't cut it at all.
