So the movie rep asked me what I thought about this movie as I left the theater, and I said, "I don't know, I think I liked it, but I don't know." and now I am supposed to write to you all, and tell you what I thought about this little independent movie. The one you might not have heard about and really relies on me to tell you what I thought, so you could become interested and maybe want to see it. The one paid for out of people's pocket's because they believed in the story, and wanted to act in it. So what is a little movie reviewer to do…
I guess I will say that I was fully engrossed in the movie. I was interested in the writing, what everyone said, and the way it was shot. It pulled me in, the story was good, the characters interesting, and the acting was very good. There were funny parts, and parts that were hard to watch, solid drama and some powerful scenes. I think it was all the things it was supposed to be as an "independent movie." However in the end I still don't know if I liked the movie. So I refer to my one sentence, Edward Norton is always good.
I really like Edward Norton, I always have, 25th hour is one of my favorite movies, (you should rent it if you haven't seen it) and I think everything else he has been in is good. Even the Hulk re-remake was all right. So while I am not sure if I liked the movie, I did like Edward Norton and if you like him you get a double dose of him playing twins in Leaves Of Grass. That is all I can say about this movie. So if you are a fan of his, then it is probably enough for you to see it. If not then I don't know if you should watch it. It's got that independent movie feel. If you are into those then Leaves Of Grass is for you, if you don't, then you probably would never considering this movie anyway.
