The Losers trailers have been on TV for at least a couple of weeks now, and I have been completely underwhelmed.  I thought this was going to be one of those action movies that no one sees, everyone doesn't like and was put together to hopefully pull cash on a cheap budget.  After I saw it, I think it is going to be one of those action movies that no one sees, but anyone that does see it will like it ok, and will probably make money.  

Here is a little thing I didn't know, this movie is based off of a comic book.  I guess not a popular one since I didn't hear anyone talking about this movie as something they wanted to see.  I know more people going to see Kick-Ass again, than thinking about seeing The Losers, which I would agree with.  This movie is fun, and has some good popcorn action, but is no Kick-Ass, but is way better than that damn Jennifer Lopez movie.  So if you are faced with the option of this or The Back-Up Plan, go with The Losers, even your girlfriend should like this one more. 

In the end though if you can avoid it I wouldn't pay full price Saturday night movie prices for The Losers.  It is fun enough for me to see that I did have a good time watching it and I was way more impressed with it, then I expected to be, but it is just another action movie.  It is good enough for you to add to your nextflix queue and wait for on DVD.  You will not be missing out if you wait 3 months for it.
