Ughhh, do I have to write this review? It's not that I don't want to write it, it's more like it is going to be very hard to come up with 3 paragraphs about this movie. I really feel the movie is overall very forgetful and I can only write so much about Zach Galifanakis and that he was the best thing about this movie, in a drama way, not a Zach Galifanakis way. I really have to stop writing about him though because I am already tired of typing out his name. I have done it 3 times already and I need a nap now.
Ok back from the nap, and I still don't have anything else to write about this movie. If you saw the trailer on TV or in the theater then you know exactly how this movie is going to play out. Any doubt about any of the movie is summed up in the poster above. I think with both of those things you can save the money and time and not see this movie but get the feeling of seeing it that you were looking for. There is really nothing new here. It is not a bad movie, at all, it's cute and sweet, and has a nice little coming of age story, but I have seen it a million times before and I could reference any of those movies and be done with it.
I can't justify you seeing this movie, unless you have not seen any other independent movies in the last 5 years, or you are really big into hairy Greek comedians. I wish I could say at least rent it, but it really isn't worth it. You can spend that time doing anything else and you will have never missed this movie. Just act like it never existed and you will forget about it like I am going to right after this sentence.
