3 Golden Globes made me ignore the overwhelming bashing of this movie by critics and got my Christmas movie dollars.  I figured I had to see how this movie got nominated for Best Comedy or Musical all while being at a very low 21% on Rotten Tomatoes.  So I went on Christmas to check out some of the sexiest people alive in a action/comedy?  Is that what this movie was?  I am not really sure, because it wasn't funny and there wasn't much action.

The movie slides along very smoothly and without much friction or notice by anyone in the audience, and I don't mean that in a good way.  By the time the movie is over, you finally realize that a movie was going on and there was an intended plot, an intended romance, and intended action.  All of which pass you by without ever noticing.   It is like a slow long drawn out conversation with various people in a row that is leading to what I think might be a shocking ending that I was not shocked about in anyway, I expected it from about 20 minutes into the movie.  At no time did I feel entertained by the movie.  I can't even fathom why it was nominated for anything let alone the comedy category.

There were very few movies I had to pick from that I had not already been screened, this and Yogi Bear were my choices, after having paid for me and my girlfriends tickets, I am not sure if I should not have paid to go see Yogi Bear.  I really should of gone and seen Tron again.  So yea, don't pay for this movie, and don't rent it either, you are not missing anything worth your 103 minutes.
