No Strings Attached Movie Review

No Strings Attached Poster

So the poster alone can get most people to the theater.  Natalie Portman looks amazing and let's be honest Aston is still a good looking dude, and as he has grown up and chilled out he has a lot more appeal.  Putting them two together in a movie about casual sex is just smart money making.  I am really starting to just love any romantic comedy that is rated R.  I like how well they are doing money wise, which means they are making more of them, and I am happy because they are all usually good.

No Strings Attached is pretty good.  It was a bit odd to transition to Natalie Portman in a fun sexual role after seeing Black Swan.  To see her as anyone else so soon after that movie was hard to get over.  The movie is a fun rated R date movie, there really isn't much to say about it.  It is funny, cute, Aston is sweet and Natalie is cute and confused.  It has some good comedy people from around Hollywood rounding out the movie to fill in all the gaps and made the movie funnier overall.  There were a couple of slower parts, but they were few and far between.  The sex scenes are pretty hot for a comedy.

This is not as good as a lot of rated R romantic comedies I can think of off the top of my head, but it is still solid, and for a late January movie it is a great date movie.  This is a great Saturday night date movie with your girlfriend.  It's funny, cute, and is hot enough to get everyone excited for when you both get home.  It is a full price movie easily.

I don’t think anyone will ever forget Natalie
Portman’s performance in “Black Swan” to be honest I think she is
going to have a hard time topping that performance. I love everything she has
done and as will with Ashton Kutcher. He is equally amazing. I haven’t seen
this movie but I wanted to ask around at work here at DISH and see how it is. I
also like to read the reviews before ordering any movie on PPV or in HD! But I
order every movie in HD so I don’t think that matters too much.
