Phillip K. Dick wrote a short story that this movie is based on, he also wrote the books or stories Total Recall, Minority Report and Blade Runner are based on.  The ideas of humanity, choice, memory, history, and science fiction are all blended so well into these movies, and The Adjustment Bureau is another great addition to this wonderful list of movies.

I was blown away with everything about this movie.  The plot, the acting, the action, the CQ all of it was put together in a wonderfully interesting movie that really grabbed me from the very first shot to the very last second.  Even the ending of this type of movie can leave a little to be desired but I loved the ending of this movie and I am completely satisfied with how it turned out. It was superb in every way.  I have to give it to first time director George Nolfi, this is a great summer movie even though we are still in March.  As the credits rolled, I wanted to know more, learn more, see more, I didn't want this story to end, I sat through the credits hoping for just a little bit more.   Matt Damon and Emily Blunt delivered great performances in this action, thriller, love story.

I would run to the theater to see this movie this weekend.  A great balance of action and good story should make this even a great date movie.  It is not a gasoline fueled explosion movie, it is a well balanced and wonderfully made movie that I think is worth the full price tickets to the theater.  I think I will be seeing this movie again for sure.
