Ted Movie Review

Ted Movie Review Poster

One Sentence: It’s not an award winner, but it is pretty damn funny.

Rated: R

Release Date: 29-Jun-2012

Nudity: 1 Pair Of Boobs

Now stick with me, I know this movie looks awful.  Just awful.  The whole bear thing doesn’t seem to make sense, the previews make him look lame, and that the comedy is somewhere near that Adam Sandler brother/sister movie.  I know that is what this movie looks like, but that is not actually what this movie is.   Really could as many great actors that are in this, be wrong?  In case you don’t know it has, Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis, Joel McHale, Giovanni Ribisi, Patrick Wharburton, Ryan Reynolds, and Tom Skeritt.

So right, I hear you.  You are saying,  it might have a good cast, but the bear, he just looks awful.  So I think the reason for this is, they could not show much at all in the previews, there is hardly anything that is ok to show on TV that Ted says.  This is a rated R movie, a hilarious, adult, comedy, that is this weird mix of like Family Guy, and a well put together movie…for a comedy.  It is weird, it is awkward in some parts, but it is damn funny, and there were a lot of times where I was thinking wow, this movie is really funny, and quite good.

I am glad to report those that like Family Guy and those that like Rated R comedies, have a movie to go see this weekend.  I think it is well worth the money and I think most people will be surprised by Ted.  If you don’t want to pay full price a matinee would work.  I just think this movie is too good to pass up, I think you might regret not seeing it soon, when you have this weekend to catch it before all the big movies start coming over the next few weeks.
