Merry Christmas, how about a BJ, and some cocaine off a strippers booty in the first 2 minutes of the movie.  And to all a good night. You know when you go see a Scorsese movie there is going to be a lack of filter, but The Wolf Of Wall Street in its 3 hours pushes just how far you can go in a rated R movie.  All with wonderful story telling and the quality and message that only Marty can deliver.

This is an amazing, sex and drug fueled blast through the 80’s and 90’s. The greed and excess of one man and his money making cult.  It hardly stops to take a breath through the absurdity of the drive for more of everything.  It is visually stunning, and morally reprehensible.  It is funny, and tragic, and a wonderful movie.  Jonah Hill is amazing again.  A wonderful follow up to his role in Moneyball.  Leo should be on the best actor of the year list with this performance.  It is masterful and might finally get him his Oscar.

At 3 hours this is a movie commitment not often seen anymore.  It never feels long, and goes by so quickly you will hardly notice.  I didn’t realize I was in the theater for that long till it was over and I look at a clock.  It probably is not the best choice of your Christmas family movie however, but if you can handle this movie, it is well worth the time.

5 out of 5 for The Wolf Of Wall Street
