Nightmare Before Christmas 3-D

Nightmare Before Christmas 3-D

Rated: PG

Running Time: 76 Minutes

Year: 1993

Boobs: Zero

One Sentence:  It's the same movie just in 3-D

So you all just have to know is it worth it.  I don't need to write a review for the whole movie.  Is it wort the extra 2 bucks for the ticket.  Well you do get to take home the fancy 3-D glasses which are very cool, in that Tom Cruise, Risky Business kind of way.  Otherwise how is the 3-D, sadly I have to say, lacking.  This movie was filmed with claymation stop motion animation in 1993.  Then they decided to retool the shots to make them 3-D this always leads to a less than advanced 3-D experience.  There was no elaborate jump out effects.  Everything was layered like 3-D is, but nothing jumped past the screen out at you.  There was nothing special about it.  It was like watching it on a View-Master.   So I would say, it is great to see in the theater, and if you are a fan you will enjoy it, I did.  However it doesn't have enough of a new twist to it, to say for those that are just so-so about the movie to go see it.
